School Advisory for Relocating Families to Dubai
Strategic, independent guidance from a former school principal with extensive international leadership experience, combining professional insight with a calm, child-centred approach.
Do you need clear, independent guidance on school choice?
Relocating to Dubai brings so much excitement and opportunity, but choosing the right school can feel really complex and overwhelming.
With multiple curricula, admissions processes, and school cultures to navigate, families are often required to make important decisions without clear insight into how schools operate day to day or what will best support their child’s wellbeing and learning.
I provide strategic, independent school advisory support grounded in real leadership experience, helping families make informed, confident choices that enable children to settle, thrive, and feel secure.
A Different Perspective on School Choice
My advice is shaped by direct experience of leading schools in Dubai and internationally, offering a perspective informed by how schools function day to day rather than how they are presented.
For over 30 years, I have worked inside schools in the UK and internationally, across both state and international settings, as a teacher, senior leader, and principal — with responsibility for admissions decisions, inclusion, safeguarding, curriculum design, and pastoral care.
This means I understand not only how schools communicate their ethos and offer, but what they prioritise in practice, and what truly matters once a child becomes part of the school community.
How We Work Together
I begin with a free initial online consultation, giving families the opportunity to talk through their relocation plans, their child’s educational background, and any priorities or concerns.
From there, support is shaped around your family’s needs and may include:
Thoughtful school shortlisting based on your child’s profile, learning needs, and future pathway
Guidance on arranging and preparing for school visits
Accompanied school visits, where helpful, to provide context and reassurance
Support with applications, transitions, and decision-making
My role throughout is to remain completely independent and objective. I do not work on commission, I do not have preferred schools, and my guidance is always centred on what is right for the child and family.
Where families are also navigating housing decisions, I work in partnership with a trusted real estate colleague whose approach mirrors my own. Our services complement one another, allowing families to feel supported across both school, location and home decisions, while remaining clear and independent.
